CHEM AER II added to the concrete reduces the weight while increasing the volume of concrete by entraining large numbers of correctly sized voids into it.
Advantages
- It decreases water permeability.
- It reduces the cracking probability during the setting.
- It increases the workability, while reducing the necessary water amount.
- It reduces the risk of segregation in transit.
- It improves water tightness of the concrete mass.
CHEM AER II is added to the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates.
Dosage
From 0.01 to 1% on cement weight (from 10 gr to 1000 gr per 100 kg of cement). The dosage depends on the aggregates grading, the grade and proportion of sand, the W/C ratio, the cement fineness and quantity per m³, the temperature etc. In order to determine the exact dosage, on-site tests are recommended.
CHEM AER II is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company.
