KRISTALION is an opaque transparent liquid that is sprayed on the surface of solid concrete. It penetrates the surface of the concrete and reacts with it, forming crystals that block pores and enhance hardness.

USE

KRISTALION is being used for the protection and improvement of concrete surfaces against water, solvents and abrasion.

ADVANTAGES

• Being inorganic, it is not sensitive to solvents.
• When used right after concreting, it prevents shrinkage cracking.

INSTRUCTIONS

Stir before usage. KRISTALION is being sprayed in a thin layer using a hand driven or automatic spraying device on the surface of concrete after the concrete has set and is hard. It can be sprayed also upon old concrete, as far as the alkalinity of concrete is still existing (up to about 20 years’ age). Protect KRISTALION from rain for 3 hours after placing. KRISTALION penetrates the concrete and reacts with it. It does not form a film. Therefore, it is very effective and durable. Cleaning of tools: Clean with plenty of water.

Dosage: Consumption 200 g/m2 per spraying layer. For absorbing concrete and better result 2 layers can be applied. Apply second layer right after the first one has been absorbed, a delay will prevent second layer from entering the concrete, since the first layer will have already started its' action. For large areas use automatic spraying devices.

Remarks: Don't use KRISTALION on surfaces where new concrete or mortar is going to be placed afterwards. In such cases the surface has to be washed first with a solution of vinegar in water 1:20. KRISTALION is compatible with concrete treated with DOMOCRON.

Packaging: IBCs of 1100 kg, drums of 200 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot.
