DOMOGARD 163 is a 2-component thixotropic protection coating on base of water soluble epoxy resin system.

USE

DOMOGARD 163 is a protection coating and is being applied on metal surfaces or concrete. It results strong resistance to chemical influences and to abrasion.

Application fields:

• dyeing, tanneries, laundry dryers, car wash installations,
• garages, parking, warehouses, exhibition halls etc.,
• concrete tennis courts,
• underwater surfaces or near the to marine environment,
• columns, tunnels, retaining walls, sewage systems, roads (protection from deicing salts),
• heliports, airports.

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove all loose parts, grease, dust and old coatings, to have a sound and solid substrate. Mix part A well, subsequently add part B to it and mix again for 2-4 minutes until a homogeneous result has been achieved. For the first coat (priming) dilute the mix with 15-20% water, according to the porosity of the substrate. Apply 2 or 3 layers according to the use of the surface. Let dry for 6 to 8 hours between consecutive layers. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

USEFUL DATA

Minimum application temperature: 8°C.

Mixing proportions: A:B = 1:1 per weight.

Pot life: At least 90 minutes at 20°C. Allow 12 days for full resistance development to abrasion or chemica attack.

Consumption: From 0.15 to 0.25 kg/m² per layer.

Shelf life: Over 5°C.

Packaging: Pairs of buckets of 10 kg.
