CHEM STABIL is a liquid retarder and stabilizer for concrete and gunite. It complies with EN 934-2 Table 8.

USE

CHEM STABIL is used as admixture for gunite and concrete in order to keep it fresh freeflowing from 3 to 72 hours, without affecting its properties. This effect is achieved by controlling the hydration of cement. Hardening and strength developing does not take place for the desired time interval, equivalent to the CHEM STABIL amount.

ADVANTAGES

• workability retention,
• user's flexibility to use the concrete when needed,
• significant reduction of the concrete loss due to rebound (gunite),
• construction economy.

INSTRUCTIONS

• In liquid gunite CHEM STABIL is added to the mixing water of the gunit.
• In concrete CHEM STABIL is added to the mixing water.

Dosage: For normal conditions from 0.25 to 1.8% on cement weight, depending on the desired stabilization. Dosage is determined with on-site tests according to need.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: IBCs of 1000 kg, drums of 220 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.
