CHEM SPL R is an aqueous solution of organic polymers ready for use, with high performance. It complies with EN 934-2 Tables 11.1, 11.2.

USE

CHEM SPL R is used:

• as superplastizer for reoplastic concrete for floor slabs, foundations, fine elements, exposed concrete, liquid gunite etc.;
• as water-reducing agent for bridges and other difficult constructions in general, since promoting accelerated hardening of concrete.

ADVANTAGES

• It increases the strength and watertightness of concrete, without affecting other properties.
• It does not affect the reinforcing steel.
• It reduces or eliminates the necessity of vibrating and simplifying concrete placement.
• It reduces cracking.
• It ameliorates the adhesion of concrete on the reinforcing steel.
• It is non-flammable and non-toxic.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHEM SPL R is added and mixed to the concrete at the plant or locally at the job site. The duration of its effect is approximately 1 hour at 20°C.

Dosage: For normal conditions from 0.4 to 0.8% on cement weight according to need. The dosage depends on the temperature, the quantity and quality of cement and aggregates, the W/C ratio, the desired final plasticity etc.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: IBCs of 1200 kg, drums of 250 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.

CHEM SPL R is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company, except the CHEMIUM range.
