CHEM SPL PH is an aqueous solution of organic polymers ready for use, with high rheoplastic performance. It complies with EN 934-2 Tables 3.1, 3.2.

USE

CHEM SPL PH is used:

• as superplastizer for concrete and water-reducing agent for high-strength concrete and self-loading mounted concrete. Recommended for floor slabs, foundations, bridges, ceilings, walls, columns, fine constructions, prestressed concrete elements, watertight constructions, jackets, exposed concreting, foundation piles, liquid gunite etc.;
• as superplastizer in concrete for precast elements, since promoting accelerated hardening and setting time of concrete.

ADVANTAGES

• It increases the strength and watertightness of concrete.
• It does not contain chlorides (<0.1%), consequently does not affect the reinforcing steel.
• It reduces or eliminates the necessity of vibrating and simplifying concrete placement.
• It significantly reduces cracking.
• It ameliorates the adhesion of concrete on the reinforcing steel.
• It is non-flammable and non-toxic.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHEM SPL PH is mixed to the concrete locally at the job site. The duration of its effect is approximately 1 hour at 20°C.

Dosage: For normal conditions from 0.4 to 1.5% on cement weight according to need. For high temperatures the dosage can be increased up to 3% on cement weight after suitable trials. The dosage depends on the temperature, the quantity and quality of cement and aggregates, the W/C ratio, the desired final plasticity etc.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: IBCs of 1200 kg, drums of 250 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.

CHEM SPL PH is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company, except the CHEMIUM range.
