CHEM DO is a ready for use powder, added in mortars, concrete, grouts to achieve preventing - reducing of shrinkage.

USE

CHEM DO is used in:

• anchoring mortars and concrete,
• mortars and concrete in tunnels,
• filling mortars,
• anchorage of grounds or rocks,
• precast elements,
• sealing mortars and concrete,
• grout injections,
• protection of tension cables in prestressed concrete.

ADVANTAGES

• It does not affect the reinforcement.
• It is non-flammable and non-toxic.
• When used in proper dosage it prevents shrinking.
• It ameliorates the homogeneity of the mix.
• It does not affect the compressive and flexural strengths.
• It improves watertightness.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHEM DO is not cement and should not be used as such. It does not affect the original ratio of the mix when used. The composition of the mix, the type of cement and mainly the W/C ratio influence expansion.

To fully take advantage of the dosed amount of CHEM DO:

• the mixing time has to be increased,
• the mix has to be protected from fast water evaporation for 7 days (ex. with BETOCURE).

During the use the temperature has to be from 5°C to 40°C. For other temperatures consult our technical service.

Dosage: The mixing ratio of CHEM DO with cement depends on the wished use of the mix. The usual ratio is 3-8% on cement weight.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: Bags of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed bags at a dry spot.

CHEM DO is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company.
