DOMOGUNIT AF is used as an accelerator of setting and hardening in liquid and powdered gunite:

• concrete repair.
• tunnel construction.
• mine tunnel construction.
• open excavations.
• swimming pools.
• thin shell construction etc.

DOMOGUNIT AF contributes to the hydration of cement by adding the following advantages:

• increase of watertightness.
• decrease of rebound and dust production.
• better adhesion on wet, damp or dry surfaces and on liquid or powdered gunite.
• increase of layer thickness.
• safe handling by workers, since it is not corrosive.

Dosage: The dosage of DOMOGUNIT AF depends on the desired setting time. The usual dosage is from 5 to 10% on cement weight.

Preparation: Cement plays a very important role in setting, thus standardized cement of good quality setting velocity, and, preferable CEM I fresh from production must be used.

In liquid gunite prepared in a mixer (usual cement concentration 400 -450 kg/m³) DOMOGUNIT AF is added in the spray nozzle during the spraying.

The setting time of gunite depends on the quality and the temperature of the substrate and the ambient, the quantity and quality of cement, the concrete formula and temperature. Tests are recommended in order to determine the dosage as a function of the desired setting time. For an optimal activity W/C ratio is recommended to not exceed of 0.45. DOMOGUNIT AF is alkali-free, nevertheless preventive measures such as covering of eyes and arms, are recommended. In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Packaging: IBCs of 1400 kg, drums of 285 kg.

Shelf Life: At least 6 months in the original sealed drums at a cool spot. Avoid frost. During extended period of storage, accumulation of solids at the bottom of the container may happen. Good stirring before use is recommended.

DOMOGUNIT AF is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company.

DOMOGUNIT AF should not be mixed with alkali shotcrete accelerators.
