Advantages
- In fresh concrete at normal dosage, it doesn’t affect the concrete strength.
- In fresh concrete at normal dosage, it doesn’t affect the setting time.
- It doesn’t contain chloride.
- It induces to the reinforcement a long term resistance to corrosion.
- It is easy to use.
CHEM PROTECT:
- Is added to the mixing water before the addition of water to the dry mix. It can also be added to the ready mix, adapting the mixing time accordingly.
- Is sprayed or brushed on the surface of dry-cast concrete, until it is saturated. After drying, spraying can be repeated.
Dosage
For normal conditions in fresh concrete 1 to 4% on cement weight (usual dosage) and 400 to 600 gr/m3 applied on hardened concrete. The effectiveness depends on the dosage, the quantity and quality of cement, the W/C ratio etc. The use of CHEM PROTECT does not replace but requires a proper concrete mix-design.
Caution
CHEM PROTECT should be calculated in the total water amount of the concrete mix.
CHEM PROTECT is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company.

Packaging: IBC’s of 1000 kg, drums of 200 kg, containers of 20 kg.
Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot.
