CHEM 5000 P is used
- as superplasticizer for concrete during winter conditions, for precast concrete, floor slabs, foundations, gunite and other constructions.
- as water-reducing agent for precast elements, bridges etc., since accelerating hardening and setting of concrete.
Advantages
- For work at winter conditions down to -10°C.
- It does not affect the reinforcement or other building materials.
- It increases the concrete’s strength and watertightness.
- It decreases the amount of vibrating.
- It increases the adhesion of the concrete on the reinforcing steel.
- It decreases cracking.
CHEM 5000 P is added to the concrete in the ready mix plant or locally at the job site. The duration of its effect is up to 1 hour at 20°C.
Dosage
For normal conditions from 0.4 to 3% on cement weight. The dosage depends on the temperature, the quantity and quality of cement, the W/C ratio, the desired final workability etc.
CHEM 5000 P is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company.
General
Packaging: IBCs of 1300 kg, drums of 250 kg, containers of 20 kg.
Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at temperature over -15°C. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.
