Concrete & Mortar Admixtures
CHEMIUM 400 ML is an ideal admixture for shotcrete. It offers long term workability, with no retarding setting time and strength development (over the workability time). It can be re-added at the job site, if the concrete is becoming stiff.
Advantages
- Super-flowable pumpable concrete with very low W/C ratio.
- It reduces the risk of segregation and bleeding of the mixture.
- It increases pumpability, improved pumping properties.
- It ameliorates concrete compaction during the shotcrete process.
- It increases watertightness of concrete, due to high water reducing effect.
- It increases the early (16-24h) and final strength.
- It reduces shrinking and cracking.
CHEMIUN 400 ML can be added to the mixer of the plant. The duration of its effect is up to 3 hours at 20°C and it can be ridded if the concrete is becoming stiff.
Dosage
For normal conditions from 0.2 to 2.0 % on cement weight. It can be raised up to 2.5% on cement weight or more according to need, without side effects after suitable trials. The dosage depends on the temperature, the quantity and quality of cement and aggregates, the W/C ratio, etc.
CHEMIUM 400 ML is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company, except the SPL range.

Packaging: IBCs of 1000 kg, drums of 220 kg, containers of 20 kg.
Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot.
